Let’s say you have just gotten your braces — you have your new wires and colors chosen — when do you come in for follow-up appointments? Typically what occurs at our office is our maintenance or adjustment appointments are generally scheduled every six weeks. Sometimes, this can be extended out a bit or maybe less than six, but generally about six weeks.
These adjustment appointments will take about 20 minutes, but we schedule half an hour in case something unforeseen comes up. Big picture we meet every 6 weeks and about 20 minutes. There are a few particular procedures that we may do that require a little more time, and those are scheduled accordingly. But, all appointments are very efficient.
