We have some new technology at our office. We actually have an intra-oral scanner which allows us to take a digital impression of your teeth. The traditional impression is not popular among patients, and in some cases we have to use this traditional approach, but largely we eliminated 95% of our impressions through the use of the digital scanner.
Our scanner is complemented by our 3-D printer which we have implemented into our workflow. The printer allows us to make a digital scan of your teeth, print a very accurate model of your teeth, and then fabricate a retainer or other appliances for your teeth.
